  • When do I need to book by? Is a deposit required?
    Please RSVP asap using this link. After submitting your RSVP, reserve a room using this link by September 1, 2025. If you need additional time, please reach out to Mike or Tim directly as soon as possible.
  • When should I plan to arrive? And how long are people staying?
    We encourage you to stay July 15 through 19 or 20, 2026 There is a 3-night minimum, but we recommend 4 nights if you can swing it! Guests can arrive as early as July 15, 2026 Most guests will arrive on July 15 or 16 July 16 is Mike's birthday—try not to miss it! The wedding is on Saturday, July 18 Many guests will leave on July 19 or 20 You can stay up to 10 days with our exclusive group rates
  • What's included with my room reservation?
    All guests enjoy the following all-inclusive amenities: Unlimited Dining and Drinks Access to 10 dining experiences, including six à la carte restaurants, one buffet, one grill, a fast-casual eatery, and a café with an ice cream parlor.​ Unlimited top-shelf spirits and beverages at any of the 13 bars and lounges.​ 24-hour room service for in-room dining convenience.​ In-room minibar refreshed daily with beverages.​ Activities and Entertainment Three levels of swimming pools spanning over 65,000 square feet, including two infinity pools, four jacuzzis, two children's pools, and a water park. ​ Non-motorized water sports, such as kayaking and snorkeling. ​ Land activities, including bicycling, fitness facilities, miniature golf, soccer, and volleyball. ​ Daily activities and nightly entertainment, including live performances and theme parties. ​ Children and Teens Explorer's Club for kids aged 3-12, offering supervised activities. ​ Core Zone Teens Club for ages 13-17, providing tailored activities and social events. ​ Additional Services Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort.​ Pool and beach wait service for added convenience.​ Daily maid service to ensure a comfortable stay.​ Additional benefits with the reservation of a Preferred Club room: Exclusive Access: Access to the Lazy River at the Preferred Club Villa section.   • Can I book a room at Dreams using a different site?
    No, all rooms must be booked on our booking site. If you found a better room or rate not available on our booking site, please contact Christine Kennedy for assistance: ckennedy@destinationweddings.com or 1-800-498-8130 Additional rooms may qualify for our group rates.
  • When is payment due in full? Can I pay with installments?
    Payment for your room reservation is due in full by February 1, 2026. You may pay early with installments if you'd like. You may book or manage a reservation on our booking site.
  • Are children invited?
    Yes! Dreams Playa Mujeres is a family-friendly resort and we’d love your kids to be part of our wedding experience. Please let us know by using our RSVP form.
  • Can I bring an additional guest?
    Yes! You may bring your immediate family and children or a +1. Please let us know by using our RSVP form.
  • Should a few of us get a room together? How many adults are allowed in a room?

  • Is an upgraded room in the Preferred Club worth it?
    Yes, we think upgrading to a Preferred Club room is worth it if that's an option for you! If you find a room not available on our booking site, please contact Christine Kennedy (ckennedy@destinationweddings.com) for assistance with booking with our group rates and room block.   • A family-friendly resort?! Is there an adults only option?
    Dependent on the size of our wedding party, we may make additional rooms available in the nearby Secrets Playa Mujeres resort which is adults only. We'll notify you if this option is available in the future and can adjust your existing reservation at that time as needed. Adults may access amenities in either resort, but you must be 18 or older to stay or access amenities at Secrets Playa Mujeres.
  • Can I get help with booking, changing, or managing my reservation?

  • Are flights included?
    No, flights are not included with your room reservation.
  • When can I book flights?
    Flights typically are available on most US airlines 11-12 months before the departure date. We estimate flights will be available around July or August, 2025. We'll send out a reminder to registered guests at that time.
  • Is Mexico safe?
    Yes! Cancún is generally very safe, especially in resort areas. Our wedding is at an all-inclusive resort with private transportation to and from the airport, and we won’t be leaving the resort as a wedding party. While safety concerns exist in parts of Mexico, tourist zones like Cancún are heavily patrolled, and millions of visitors enjoy them every year without issue. In fact, for some LGBTQ+ folks, Cancún might even feel safer than certain parts of the U.S.! 🌈
  • What airport do I fly into?
    Cancun International Airport (CUN). It's about 40 minutes south of the resort. Transportation between the airport and resort is included with your room reservation.
  • Are there group rates for flights?
    No, we will not have any group booking options for flights.
  • Should I buy the travel insurance? What if I need to cancel?
    Even without travel insurance, you can cancel by March 1, 2026 and receive a refund except for the $100 deposit. If you do not purchase travel insurance, you may incur penalties if you cancel after March 1, 2026 up to the amount of your reservation.   • Are passports required?
    Yes, passports are required to enter Mexico and must be valid through the duration of your trip. Please plan ahead and let us know if you’re having any issues.
